14K Georgian Seed Pearl & Quartz Ring

CA$700.00
1 available

what we believe to be a Georgian era ring, made with a foil-backed faceted quartz stone surrounded by a halo of seed pearls set in 14k rose gold. Its possible the centre of this ring was once a brooch that has been later converted into a ring - a well-done conversion if so.

The quartz has accumulated a patina underneath the setting, creating a warmer hue to the stone and giving it a “topaz” kind of colour. A gorgeous piece of history.

Materials: Quartz crystal, natural seed pearls, 14k gold

Era: Georgian (estimated circa 1714-1837)

Size: Ring size 6.75 US/Canada. UK size N.

Weight is 4.3 grams.

Condition Report:

In very good antique condition. Some patina under quartz crystal. Likely a brooch converted into a ring.
