A charming set of early victorian earrings with foil-backed rose cut diamonds set in high karat gold. The rose cut diamonds are particularly interesting - while one has better clarity, the other is a “salt and pepper” diamond with varying tones of steel grey and interesting inclusions. The earrings are likely French in origin with solid backs behind the stones.
The diamond settings are 18 karat gold while the earrings hooks are 14 karat.
Era: Late Georgian/Early Victorian (circa 1830-1850)

The higher clarity diamond measures 5mm across while the more included diamond measures 4.5mm across.

The diamonds have some very subtle chips and cracks along the settings. Barely visible and to be expected being 200 years old. Overall, in good antique condition.
A solid gold 10k gold signet ring with a bezel set agate. The ring has a solid gold back and attractive stripes throughout the agate. Arguably one of the most classic ring designs.

A remarkable sterling silver locket from the Victorian era - complete with floral work, a celestial star border, silver barbs, and monogrammed back.
The locket is quite large at 2.5 inches long and in good shape, with a few dents and dings (including one of the silver barbs around the perimeter).
The inside of the locket has think plastic inserts that have replaced the original glass at some point over the last 100 years. There are also faint roman numerals carved into the inside of the locket.
We’ll leave the monogrammed initials on the reverse up to your interpretation!

A vintage 9 karat gold intaglio ring depicting a roman soldier carved out of green chrysophrase.
The ring is hallmarked with 9 karat gold hallmarks and a date letter, but the assay office hallmark is missing from the ring being resized. English in origin.
The green chrysphrase is a particularly attractive green with good translucency.

A vintage 18K white gold ring with diamond accents & a central natural ruby in a pierced scrollwork & milgrain setting. The ruby in this ring has a great, subtle, but deep red colour. The ring is very thick - gauged gold and well constructed.

This is a hard to find Egyptian revival 9 karat gold bracelet set with 11 iridescent scarab beetles. The beetles all have a fantastic green blue sheen to them, and glisten very brightly in the light. Many of these bracelets never survived due to the fragility of the beetle shells.
The 9k gold setting has been flashed over with 18k gold to give it a more rich, high karat appearance - a very common practice with Victorian jewelry. Stamped “375” for 9k on the tab of the clasp. A particular special and colourful piece.

A 14k white gold setting with an australian black opal with flashes of electric blue & purple. The ring has ornate scrollwork designs on the shoulders and sides of bezel.

An older 14k Gold Ring with a robins egg blue turquoise cabochon in a raised setting with a greek styled border. The bright blue turquoise has a striking black matrix throughout - no chips or cracks. The ring is marked “14k” inside and also has a makers mark that reads “R” inside of a circle.

A late georgian era gold-filled fob with a foil-backed carved citrine intaglio of initials on the bottom. This fob is quite large with an engraved ring on top as well. The initials appear to read “FM” on the base.

Condition Report:
In fair condition, much of the gold-fill plating has come off exposing the base metal beneath. Wear to commensurate age. Citrine on the base is in very good condition.
A stark, finely made Victorian era hinged cuff bracelet made of sterling silver. This piece was manufactured in Birmingham, England in 1885 by Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & Francis Hollings Shepherd (Saunders & Shepherd).
The company has an interesting history, from being badly bombed in London during WW2, to eventually going on to create a commissioned 18K bracelet for Diana, Princess of Whales. The bracelet was commissioned by King Charles for her birthday present and was worn on the day of her wedding.
The piece appears to date from the very first year the company starting silversmithing - 1885.

This impressive vintage cocktail ring features 9 multi-coloured different sized pearls set in a 14K yellow gold mount. The left side of the ring has intertwined gold leaves that wrap around into the setting. The colours of the pearls range shades of peach to a titanium grey/silver. Hallmarked “14k” on interior of the band.

A historical silver French Ecu coin depicting King Louis XIV on the front and dated 1690. On the reverse, the letter “L” appears back to back 4 times, with a fleur-de-lis in between. This coin was struck during the “Nine Years’ War” between France and the Grand Alliance. A neat piece of history that can be worn as a medallion.

A mexican matrix opal bezel set in a sterling silver ring. The colourful opal has primary flashes of blue and green, with secondary flashes of red and orange. Signed by the maker and marked 925 inside the band.

A Laurel Burch set of sterling silver enamel & gold-gilded/vermeil chinese export earrings depicting colourful leopard faces. Appear to be hand-crafted by Laurel Burch around the 1970’s (unsigned). In traditional chinese culture, leopards typically represent bravery & ferocity.

A sterling silver pendant from 1952 depicting Saint George slaying the dragon.
Legend has that the dragon was gradually offered livestock to keep the villagers safe. When the sheep ran out, a princess was offered to the dragon - at which point St. George intervened and slayed the dragon. St. George is regarded with great respect in Christianity. Oldest versions of this legend come from 11th century Cappadocia.

An antique sterling silver nugget watch-fob attached to a sterling silver watch chain. This piece is incredibly unique and exclusive. Suitable to be attached to an antique pocket watch, or to serve as a collectors item. Circa early 1900’s.
The nugget has been slightly flattened to sit in one’s pocket easier. It would have served as a fob to pull the attached pocket-watch out of one’s pocket. This piece has a beautiful dark patina thats accumulated over the last 100 years.

what we believe to be a Georgian era ring, made with a foil-backed faceted quartz stone surrounded by a halo of seed pearls set in 14k rose gold. Its possible the centre of this ring was once a brooch that has been later converted into a ring - a well-done conversion if so.
The quartz has accumulated a patina underneath the setting, creating a warmer hue to the stone and giving it a “topaz” kind of colour. A gorgeous piece of history.

An intricately detailed, solid silver, Middle-Eastern hair comb that was carefully handmade from over 100 years ago. The repoussé (ancient technique of hand hammering from the backside of the piece) is open to interpretation - perhaps floral, or possibly even waves surrounded by a border of tiny clams.

A Chinese Export silver ring with a tigers eye cabochon. The filigree shoulders have detailed motifs of grapevines on either side. The ring is moderately adjustable with a split back on the shank. Currently size 7 but can be sized up or down in either direction by bending the back open or closed.

A stunning aqua blue/green natural emerald cut emerald set in a 14k white gold filigree setting.
The emerald is approximately 1 carat in size has great clarity and desirable colour. Possibly Columbian in origin but not confirmed.
The 14 white gold setting has filigree details on all 4 sides and is marked “14k” on the inside of the bale.
