A charming late victorian era 14k gold pin depicting a realistic fox head mounted on a riding crop. The pin comes in a handmade antique suede & velvet lined leather box. The foxes eyes are set with bright red garnets.

The horse riding crop has white gold accents on either end. The fox head is solid, not hollow, and the whole piece is crafted from 14k gold and is stamped “14k” on the back.

These brooches were typically worn by women of status who partook in horse riding and/or fox hunting during the victorian era. English in origin.
