Heavy, solid, sterling silver and gold gilt “IDA” Victorian brooch. The brooch is accented with ivy and forget-me-not flowers. In Victorian times, Ivy represented immortality, everlasting love, and fidelity. The forget-me-not’s representation is self explanatory. This piece is a solid bar of silver at 16.8 grams (just over half a troy ounce).

Materials: Sterling silver (tested), gold overlay on the ends, C clasp and pin may be base metal (untested)
